Process tools should help the work, not document it after.

ProcessGamma started from a question: why is the average BPMN tool so expensive, so heavy, and so disconnected from the documentation the team actually reads?

We built the editor for operators first: the people who actually run the work, who own the gaps, who care about which CRM the data lands in. The diagram is for them. The auto-generated documentation is for everyone else.

The architecture pillars are deliberate:

• The diagram is the source of truth. Don't duplicate it into a Confluence page that goes stale.
• Sharing is folder-scoped. Most teams don't need row-level permissions; they need "this folder is for Finance".
• Systems and data are first-class. A process isn't just a flowchart, it's the systems it touches and the data that moves between them.
• Documentation is generated. Owners add context; the structure comes from the diagram.
